Rising Star Award

The ACI Rising Star award is intended to recognize an emerging leader in Indiana agribusiness whose record reflects ongoing and exceptional growth, contribution to the industry and increased levels of leadership, responsibility and impact. There is no age limit on the award; successful candidates will simply have a strong career trajectory and meet the following criteria:

  • Seven years or less in the agribusiness industry.
  • Can be nominated by a peer/coworker/mentor or be self-nominated.
  • Must be doing great things for agriculture and agribusiness in Indiana.
  • Must be an employee of an ACI member company.

The winner of the award will be announced each year at ACI's annual conference.  Application Deadline: July 10, 2023

Lifetime Achievement Award

The ACI Lifetime Achievement Award is given each year by the ACI board of directors and is intended to recognize significant and enduring contributions to Indiana agribusiness. Eligibility requirements include:

  • At least 25 years of professional service in the agribusiness industry.
  • Significant contributions to the profession and adherence to high standards of professionalism in all endeavors.
  • Award may be given posthumously.
  • The recipient need not live (or have lived) in Indiana, but must be an employee of an ACI member company.

The winner of the award will be announced each year at ACI's annual conference.


Legislator of the Year Awards

ACI created the Legislator of the Year awards to show our appreciation for legislators whose support of Indiana agribusiness encourages a vibrant, sustained and healthy industry. Rep. Don Lehe was the 2022 Legislator of the Year award winner.
